Job Description
Danfoss Climate Solution is looking for a creative and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Kamnik, Slovenia. You will be responsible for mechanical design of product and new product development and you will take activities for technology & engineering solution to fast prototype and support new concept verification together with R&D engineers.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Resposibile for Mechanical design on a new development products and coordination design activity on project.
- Investigate tehnical customer and internal requrements to connect them to product.
- Work on simple solution for fast prototyping and simplification of process to support new concept verification.
- Generate and verify new idea to improve product.
- Data anasysing and problem solving.
- Developing products following IATF16949 tools, DFMEA, SPC, Customer requirements..
- Optimize the design and follow directives or standards.
- Other tasks that supervisor or manager assigned.
- Follow EHS policy of Danfoss.
- Customer comunication and internal stake holder comunication to define best tehnical concept for product.

Basic Qualifications:
- At least bachelor's degree within relevant technical area.
- 3 – 5 years experience on mechanical design.
- Proficient CAD(Creo, NX) software skills.
- Fluent English skills both in writing and speaking.
- Team player with the ability to have cross-function cooperation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with sheet metal forming, brazing, material science.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to be pro-active throughout the project process to deliver results and take ownership.
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
