Job Description
Danfoss is leading manufacturer of electronic controllers in Refrigeration and control segment. An Electronic R&D facility is in Chennai covering the areas of software applications, firmware, electronic hardware, mechanical and validation to facilitate end to end electronic product development. The product and projects portfolio will be as per global requirements of the company.
The position requires a high caliber lead Engineer who will be responsible for test plan, strategy, test case design, test execution and reporting.This role also involves Design and development of test framework for web application and system test automation
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for test plan, strategy, test case design, test execution and reporting
- Develop the world class and holistic test automation frameworks for cloud systems, web application and tools
- Responsible for design, develop and execute the automated test suit
- Responsible in understanding product backlog and convert them in to test script
- Ownership in end to end product verification of danfoss total store web applications
- Responsible for quality and robust delivery of danfoss software products
- Having the global mindset and manage the stakeholder’s expectation
- Maintain the agility in testing and test process.
Background & Skills
- Masters Degree or Bachelors Degree in CSE,IT,ECE or any related field with 9 to 12 years of experience in web application test automation
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience required in leading web test automation and coordinating project teams.
- Experience in Web Automation Testing, UI Automation Testing and Authentication/Authorization (OAuth 2.0)
- Hands on experience in cypress.io for web UI test automation
- Experience in Performance Testing (UI and API)
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD (Azure)
- Hands on expertise programming in JavaScript
- Hands on experience in working with mocks, stubs and drivers
- Hands on experience in Selenium with JavaScript
- Experience in BDD test automation framework.
- Experience in Security Testing for IOT and web application.
- Mandatory Certification in Agile Scrum (CSD/CSM)
- Knowledge in Machine Learning and Data Analytics will be an added advantage.
- ISTQB, Cloud and Cyber Security Certification will be an added advantage.
