We at Semikron Danfoss are currently looking for a Test Concept Leader (m/w/d) to strengthen our team in Nuremberg.

Job Responsibilities


Acting like a project leader, means for one product group to summarize members of different departments, who works on sub-test-concepts. Your goal is, to get a “red thread” from the first sketch to the final routine test; closing the gap between development and operation:

  • Ensure reuse of already existing similar production test or test equipment (sort in good/bad solutions)
  • Adjust technical boundary conditions (e.g. from special market, from special customer)
  • Definition of used methods (when to use AQL, golden sample and first/last sample methods, DOE or initial robustness validation)
  • Takes part in FMEA even to synchronize D- and P-FMEA (design to test = test fits to product and process Vs. product or process is able to be tested)
  • Create tender specifications for test machines
  • Guiding even after commissioning of the (test-) machines and release +3 month of real testing
  • Keep overview of results of different experts and use of methods
  • Summarize existing test concepts, create missing concepts and synchronize all
  • Control costs-test depth-timing triangle for optimized solution
  • Technical responsibility of test sequences (e.g. for EoL)

  • Interdisciplinary thinking (from incoming inspection to the finished product)
  • Knowledge of different Q-methods (6-sigma, FMEA, failure prevention…)
  • System knowledge of power electronic applications (system engineer)
  • Study in electronical engineering (master) with working experience. Alternative studies possible or Ph.D.)
  • German and English language requested (business fluent)
