Danfoss’ newest business unit – White Drives Motors & Steering is a standalone business that consists of three locations -- Hopkinsville, Kentucky, U.S.; Wroclaw, Poland; and Parchim, Germany. As part of the announced acquisition of Eaton Hydraulics, White Drives Motors & Steering will be divested from Danfoss by the end of 3Q 2021 to ensure all regulatory approvals are met. 

This position is expected to remain with White Drives Motors & Steering. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Danfoss’ plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Danfoss when the transaction closes, the new owner of White Drive Motors & Steering will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships while maximizing sales to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for the White Drives business.  
This position is flexible for a home office location within the United States. 
 

Job Responsibilities

Managing the complex OEM sales cycle from identification to cash generation, leading team interaction across multiple functional areas
Establishing relationships with OEM customers to enable thorough understanding of their application and needs to optimize Danfoss’ value proposition
Developing tactical and action plans for the major OEMs and modify as necessary in order to meet changing conditions and objectives
Providing regional input to global sales teams for international accounts to maximize regional implementation of global customer strategies
Forecasting sales revenue within account responsibility based on customer input and market conditions
Developing and diligently managing a business opportunity pipeline for long term sales revenue growth
Taking an ownership role in conflict resolution to ensure customer 
 

Background & Skills

Bachelor’s degree with more than 3 years of experience in B2B/OEM manufacturing sales
Experience in the Construction and Aq equipment market strongly preferred
Proven track record of substantial sales success
Experience dealing with technical products
Hunter mindset with a strong desire to meet the sales target
Should have customer service mindset
Professional, tenacious, and strong with convincing communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency required
Salesforce experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
Expected travel – 35 to 40%

Thanks to his technical improvements, including the use of innovative materials, the company was immediately able to produce high-pressure pumps that were smaller and easier to operate compared to competing products.The Hydraulics division was established in 1997 and currently supplies a wide variety of components, accounting for approximately two thirds of total sales. The company is listed at the Milan Stock Exchange with ticker IP.M.
