Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Responsible for analysis, advisory services, specification and complex problem solving within the SAP area.  The employee will solve complex technical problems within specific systems and subject areas, be responsible for design and implementation of new systems and solutions, and provide technical consultation in connection with larger projects. 
  • SAP Netweaver system administration
  • SAP change and release management
  • Installation of new SAP systems, including high-availability setup
  • Upgrading and patching of SAP Systems
  • Performance tuning
  • Troubleshooting, incident and problem resolution with SAP Netweaver; participating in 24x7 guard duty; accomplish tasks related to “Incidents”, “Service Requests”, and “Problems”
  • Test hardware and software and document results; work out instructions and guidelines for solutions and settings; responsible for analysis, design, and documentation of new solutions/concept
  • Evaluate impact of and responsibility for implementation of changes to larger systems
  • Participate in projects often as a technical coordinator
  • Support planning and coordination of project tasks, execute project tasks, and complete managing responsibility for smaller projects within the team.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical or Computer), or related technology
  • 5 years of experience as SAP Netweaver consultant, including with SAP ME/MII (Manufacturing Execution/Manufacturing Information and Integration), SAP Netweaver JAVA, SAP HANA, MS SQL Server and Windows Operating system
  • Certified SAP Netweaver consultant (SAP Certified Technology Associate)
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization
