Danfoss is looking for an SAP GTS (Global Trade System) Consultant in IT department. You will be provided with the opportunity to design, configure, test, and support our digital solutions, interacting with IT colleagues and business stakeholders across the globe. You will enhance your skills by learning the latest trends and updates on new technologies and architectures pertaining to our team and the direction of the business.
Job Responsibilities
• Take part in projects or maintenance tasks to deliver qualified IT solution
• Clarify and validate business requirements in global trade area
• Understand existing solution and give proposal on optimization
• Analyse and design new IT solution, write RICEFW specification
• Configure, build and test in SAP S4Hana and SAP GTS system in cooperation with our Build team
• Specify interfaces between Global Trade system and surrounding systems
• Document solution and developments
Background & Skills
• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in software engineering, information technology or another relevant background within IT.
• 5-10 years’ work experience on SAP GTS 11.0 and SAP ERP solution, implementation or Roll-out project experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge in SAP global trade system (GTS), hands on experience in design, configuration, and development
Material classification, commodity code, tariff code
Compliance management, Embargo, Sanction party screening (SPL)
Legal control on dual-use product, ECCN, ICCN, license management
Import process, export process and communication with Customs Authorities
Special customs procedure like foreign trade zone(FTZ), bonded warehouse(CW), IPR etc
Free trade agreement (FTA), country of origin(CoO)
Intrastat (ECR)
• Experience and knowledge on SAP MM/SD/LE function is preferred
• Knowledge on compliance and foreign trade law in US, Mexico and Brazil is a plus.
Soft Skills:
• Fluent in English, both in writing and speech
• Good Communications skills to work with diverse stakeholders in global environment
• Self-motivated, good team player, excellent in problem solving
