Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an IT Consultant in Global Trade Management. You will be a member of the Danfoss Group IT, Design Competency Center, GTS global team with the opportunity to design, configure, test, and support our digital solutions. This role allows for interaction with IT colleagues and business stakeholders across the globe. You will enhance your skills by learning the latest trends and updates on new technologies and architectures pertaining to our team and the direction of the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take part in projects or maintenance tasks to deliver quality IT solutions
  • Clarify and validate business requirements for the Global Trade area
  • Understand existing solution and give proposal on optimizations
  • Analyze and design new or updated IT solutions
  • Write RICEFW specifications
  • Configure, build and test in SAP S4Hana and SAP GTS system in cooperation with our Build team
  • Specify interfaces towards surrounding Global Trade systems
  • Document solution and developments

Background & Skills

  • Knowledge and experience with Global Trade solutions, like OneSource Global Trade, SAP GTS, Vastera TradeSphere, Descartes etc.
    • Material classification, commodity code, tariff code
    • Compliance management, Embargo, Sanction party screening (SPL)
    • Legal control on dual-use product, ECCN, ICCN, license management
    • Import process, export process and communication with Customs Authorities
    • Foreign trade zone, bonded warehouse
    • Free trade agreement, country of origin
  • Deep knowledge and 5+ years’ experience on SAP S4Hana or ECC within MM/SD/LE function
  • Development skills are an advantage
  • Project experiences in at least 3 full-cycle ERP implementation is a plus
  • Compliance and foreign trade legal knowledge for MX, US or Brazil is a plus
  • Experience with SOLMAN and CHaRM is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both in writing and speech
  • Good Communications skills and able to work with diverse stakeholders in a global environment
  • Result oriented, motivated and self-starter, good team player
  • Excellent in problem solving and analytical skills
