Job Description

Danfoss is looking for an experienced Senior Consultant for PLM Delivery of Danfoss Group IT (DGIT). The individual is responsible for reviewing our current workflows and help transform our operations more efficiently via code.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
  • Gather, analyze, and evaluate needs of user and their feedback
  • Recommend and execute continuous improvements
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs as needed
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
  • Identify and create solutions for complex issues
  • Assure data integrity and provide solutions when inconsistencies are identified
  • Develop code with minimum supervision, that meets quality standards and best practices
  • Provide unit and functional test-cases for the implemented solutions
  • Provide best practices and guide the team on how to structure and manage code
  • Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

 

  1. Bachelors / Masters engineering degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering.
  2. 4+ Years of development experience.
  3. Knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum development methodologies preferred
  4. Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
  5. Strong coding/technical skills: Java, JavaScript, C++, PowerShell, C# (AngularJS, CSS3/HTML5), SQL script.
  6. Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills.
  7. Knowledge of Engineering applications such as Ansys, NX, OrCAD, National Instruments, Teamcenter, Polarion, Artifactory is a plus.
  8. Very good English written and communication skills.
  9. Exceptional collaborative skills working with global diverse teams.
  10. Knowledge of Windows Client/Server Operating Systems is a must.
  11. Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies.
