Field Systems Engineer CO2 Expert

Job Description

Danfoss, a global leader in HVAC/R, Industrial Automation, and Motion Controls, has an immediate opening for a Field Systems Engineer C02 Expert in its Food Retail - Field Delivered Services Group. This Person would be overseeing the design and implementation of refrigeration controls relating to C02 refrigeration systems and will work from a home-based office.

Job Responsibilities

Critical Tasks/Responsibilities
•    Oversee & Manage CO2 Start Up Application in the Field
•    Support OEM Manufactures on implementing Danfoss CO2 products into their product lines. 
•    Provide input in design to support the customer
•    Manage customer relationships
•    Oversee & Manage Contractors during energy management installation and retrofits. 
•    Integrate Control Strategies designed by Customer into EMS
•    Adhere to customer specification on projects, verifying compliance of project installations 
•    Respond to assistance needed by team members
•    Provide technical assistance in the support of commissioning.
•    Clearly deliver objectives to subordinate contractors
•    Manage travel & expenses, to & from customer sites. Assist in tracking equipment orders. Assist in training of Contractors

Background & Skills

Basic Minimum Skills Required
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or. 2-year technical degree with 3-5 years’ work experience in field.
•    Strong knowledge of C02 Refrigeration systems and control logic. 
•    Project Management skills
•    Excellent time management skills
•    Good customer skills, with the ability to talk to all levels in an organization and must be a team-player
•    Self-sufficient/self-starter
•    Excellent customer service skills
•    Willing and able to travel 75%
