Danfoss Innovation Accelerator in Cambridge, MA is searching for an Innovation Director to join our team. The role will fuel the future of Danfoss by developing new solutions, growth strategies, and entrepreneurial processes to our core businesses.
 

Job Responsibilities

•    Engage and develop new talent and technology opportunities across Danfoss
•    Develop and maintain a portfolio of technology, partnership, and growth opportunities
•    Lead strategy formation and execution for incubating and scaling new businesses
•    Direct technology teams in proof-of-concept and engineering projects
•    Recruit and develop diverse, high-performing team
•    Represent Danfoss in local community in collaboration with the Danfoss communications and talent acquisition teams
 

Background & Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•    Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
•    Advanced engineering degree 
•    Innovation-focused masters or MBA Degree
•    Strong business strategy fundamentals
•    Demonstrable communication skills at all levels of organization
•    Proven experience in managing performance of cross-functional teams
•    Experience in vehicle systems and subsystem engineering
DESIRED SKILLS
•    2+ years in a B2B business development or marketing role
•    Development of proof-of-concept and scaling of new solutions
•    Accountability for technology commercialization or corporate entrepreneurship projects
•    Experience in the automation, robotics, electrification, and/or off-highway industries
