Director, Total Rewards

Purpose

Director, Total Rewards is a role in the Corporate Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits area. This role is responsible for effective project management with a global scope, data gathering, auditing and analytics, global process administration, and general support in executing the Danfoss Total Rewards job architecture governance, initiatives, and strategic objectives across the organization. 

The position will report to Head of Compensation and Benefits within Total Rewards Center of Excellence.   

 

Key responsibilities

  • Global out view, governance and communication around IPE overall set up and job architecture (based on Mercer evaluation model).
  • Sparring and support on compensation packages regarding new evaluations and promotions.
  • Ensuring proper documentation all workflows where IPE approvals are initiated and completed (exceptions, demotions etc.).
  • Annual review of market data and practices.
  • Continuous improvement of job catalog and ensuring link to overall compensation and benefits governance in Danfoss.
  • Vendor tender process and contract renewal for Mercer and Korn Ferry.
  • Leading global strategic projects and initiatives within C&B annual processes and topics with special focus on driving local market relevance and implementation.
     

Requirements

  • Experience working in a global position with a strong focus on analytics and/or finance, ideally working with compensation for at least 7 years.
  • Experience in project management, strong capabilities to influence senior stakeholders via efficient communication and presentation skills.
  • Sound skills in excel with ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate by telling a story with the data.
  • Proven and confident person who can guide HR and Leaders through the Danfoss Total Rewards landscape.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and problem-solving focused person with high understanding of stakeholder management principles.
  • Fluent English in written and verbal (other languages would be an advantage).
  • Good working knowledge from similar sized a multinational company (ideally with similar footprint).
  • Post Graduate degree or equivalent education preferably in HR or Finance.
     

Location can be in Copenhagen/Nordborg and other Danfoss EU locations.
