Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Power Electronics Intern for Summer 2023 to join our Hardware Development team in Research Triangle Park, NC. As an intern at Danfoss, you will become an active part of a passionate and driven team and be given the opportunity to develop yourself personally and professionally.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Designing, building and testing proof of concept circuits
  • Design, test plan and test result documentation
  • Supporting other team members with design/proof of concept data
  • Helping our test and validation team to create and modify test setups

Background & Skills

  • Candidates should have completed at least one year of a masters degree program in Electrical Engineering

Basic knowledge of the following required:

  • Power semiconductors, Power Electronics topologies and Analog/Digital Control electronics.
  • Knowledge of Computer aided engineering design and simulation tools, such as MATLAB, MathCad and PSpice
