Danfoss Drives is looking for a Power Electronics Intern for Summer 2024 to join our Hardware development team in Research Triangle Park, NC. Job Responsibilities
If you take this exciting challenge to join us as an intern in the Hardware development team, your tasks will include:
- Designing, building and testing proof of concept circuits
- Design, test plan and test result documentation
- Supporting other team members with design/proof of concept data
- Helping our test and validation team to create and modify test setups

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's in an appropriate engineering science
- Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the RTP work location
- Basic knowledge of power semiconductors, Power Electronics topologies, and Analog/Digital Control
- Basic knowledge of computer aided engineering design and simulation tools such as PLECS, ANSYS, MATLAB / Simulink and PCB design tools
- Passion for engineering and willingness to ask questions
- Team player attitude, willingness to take initiative, and willingness to learn
