Job Description

We are currently looking for an Application Engineer (m/f/d) in Flensburg or Ismaning (Munich), Germany. In this role, you will be designing highly innovative products and technologies at the forefront of technological advancement and sustainability in industry and renewable applications.

Job Responsibilities

Our Application Engineers take on a central role and follow our product development from customer inquiry to series production. As the technical counterpart to our sales teams, you will consult on feasibility and assess customer requirements. You will then develop and present on new products and key platform solutions. In the early project development stages, you will collaborate across teams to find the best possible technical solutions considering suitable electrical components and life cycle requirements. You will also be a technical consultant to customers during the project phase and series production. Furthermore, you will be asked to share knowledge with your colleagues, participate in specialist conferences and present your work in key publications.

Background & Skills

We are looking for a creative, communicative, and open-minded team player with a master’s degree in engineering with a focus in power electronics. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in power electronics projects either through your studies and practical experience or through work experience. Additionally, we would like to see:

 

  • High degree of customer orientation
  • Motivation and commitment to create innovative products
  • Solution-oriented collaborator across different functional groups
  • Very good knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to think outside the box
