Job Description
A natural fit - Bock GmbH has been part of Danfoss Climate Solutions since March 2023. At the Frickenhausen site near Stuttgart, we are currently looking for a Category Manager (m/f/d) to complete our procurement team.
In this role, you are fully responsible for the supplier management of Bock’s products in the European market.
Job Responsibilities
- proactively manage supplier relationships for each category, including conducting regular business review meetings to ensure alignment and performance.
- develop and implement strategies for each category, aligning them with company goals to drive growth and efficiency.
- analyze the market for each category to identify trends and opportunities for competitive advantage
- manage supplier accounts by maintaining strong relationships, aligning on shared goals, and ensuring performance and contracts stay on track for each category.
- create and maintain a commercial savings pipeline for each category, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement.
Background & Skills
You hold a degree in business, supply chain or a related field and bring previous experience in category management, procurement or supply chain management
Additionally, we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in supplier relation management
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Solution oriented mindset combined with a structured and organized way of working
- Excellent communication skills in English. Every other language is a plus
