If so, then you might be our new Senior Pricing Strategy Specialist who will be part of our global Pricing team in Danfoss Drives (DPD).

 

You will be contributing to Danfoss Drives’ strong market position and help gain further competitive advantage. Job Responsibilities

Our ambition is to support the Danfoss growth journey by providing business critical insights to sales. It will be your responsibility to create a value-based pricing strategy across the DPD product portfolio which will be a reference point for the sales organization. Your key tasks will be:

  • Setting global list prices in corporation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Defining sales price guidance with relevant stakeholders, supporting our Sales organization in setting customer prices.
  • Supporting implementation of pricing excellence.
  • Daily Support to our Sales organization e.g., preparing Sales analytics.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you need to have at least a relevant bachelor’s degree with extensive professional experience in pricing strategy, process facilitation and project optimization gained in a global B2B business or management consultancy. Moreover, we are looking for a candidate who has:

 

  • Proactive and strategic mindset – with the ability to support and train stakeholders in applying pricing principles. 
  • Experience from the consultancy industry could be of relevance.
  • Business acumen, value chain understanding and financial understanding.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization and participating in global project teams collaborating with a network of internal and external world-class specialists.
  • The ability to present information in a variety of forms, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and diagrams.
  • Proven project management skills including ability to plan, prioritize and set goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate complex subjects in a simple way to audiences of all levels.
  • Being a self-motivated, ambitious, and positive team player.
  • Fluent and comprehensive in English – written and verbal.

You are goal-oriented and have an excellent, outgoing, and persuasive communication style, and you motivate, train, and engage others in an enthusiastic way while focusing on building relationships with individuals and groups. Understanding the business and being able to interact with multiple stakeholders, including executives, across borders and cultures is key to success in this role.
