If so, you might be a perfect fit for our new position as Area Payroll Lead.
We are in the process of designing a new HR delivery model in Danfoss. This means you will be part of establishing a new HR Services organisation with a strong pioneering spirit and an ambition to deliver state of the art HR services to our business.
You will be responsible for payroll, time and benefit deliveries in this diverse area which covers East & South European countries.
You will be responsible for the transfer of local payroll set-ups into the EMEA HR Services organization. You will establish and lead the new team and be overall responsible for all end-to-end payroll and time processes, reporting, audits, and compliance reviews.
You will join a newly established team where we are driven by a shared passion for making our new shared services set-up a success and you will report to the Head of Payroll for EMEA.
You will be based either at our office in Poland (Pomorskie or Mazowieckie) or Hungary (Budapest).
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Play a key role on a big transformation journey where we are streamlining our system landscape, reorganizing our payroll set-up, and changing our HR delivery model.
- Lead the payroll team by role modelling our company values and by focusing on employee development and well-being.
- Overall responsible for all end-to-end payroll and time related deliveries.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT and external vendors on system design, improvements, and integrations.
- Provide and analyze advanced payroll and time reports.
- Manage audits and compliance reviews.
- Continuous streamlining of operations.
- Manage country payroll & time projects aimed at harmonizing processes and systems within EMEA.
Background & Skills
We imagine that you hold a relevant bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field (or have equivalent work experience).
We expect you to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Payroll Manager in an international company where you have managed payroll in several countries. You have experience handling transition of payroll into a shared services context and are used to working with production environments. You have a hands-on approach, a good understanding of system landscapes as well as demonstrated experience with leading people and streamlining processes.
