Job Description
Danfoss is looking for Manufacturing Technology Manager, who will drive best in class performance, process and cost optimization with value-added technology capabilities across the business that provides measurable outcomes. In addition, is expected to have a deep sense of ownership, ability to identify process improvement opportunities, drive positive changes across the organization. This individual should further be able to demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate, manage people, and lead/influence Manufacturing Engineering team that report to this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage your Manufacturing Technology team and develop the competencies of the team via coaching, training, and continuous improvement activities, keep the team highly efficient and motivated to assure operational excellence.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture and commercial mindset in process technology to develop further the productivity with respective cost and quality improvements
- Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and procurement to ensure that our quality standards and costing initiatives are upheld.
- Cooperation with the Maintenance Department and external companies in the field of inspections, repairs and removal of machine failures
- Supervision of production documentation
- Reporting and liaising with key stakeholders within the organization
Background & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of related experience within the manufacturing sector - automotive is preferred
- Degree in Engineering (preferably in the fields: Automation, Mechatronic or Production Engineering)
- Strong, self-driven leader with demonstrated ability to proactively drive, manage and grow an operations and MT team
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes & engineering
- Knowledge of Manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 experience is preferred
- Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Attention to detail with ability to hit deadlines and milestones
- Proven logic and decision-making abilities, critical thinking skills
- Emotional resilience and an ability to work under pressure with good humor
- Fluent English
