You will be a part of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Control’s R&D and Engineering organization in Danfoss, located in Grodzisk Mazowiecki Poland

As our new Design Engineer for commercial and industrial refrigeration valves and switches, your overall mission will be maintenance of robust product designs while continuously improving quality and reducing cost.

Job Responsibilities
    • Lead cross functional team in design change activities arising from continuous improvements of quality and cost.
    • Design and implement customer specific requirements.
    • Drive engineering effort in quality issues affecting customers and/or manufacturing
    • Address issues arising from design or bill of materials (BoM) mistakes.
    • Participate actively in quality improvement activities
    • Coordinate changes with factories in China and India
    • Participate in new product development (NPD) projects.
Background & Skills
  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (mechatronics or mechanical engineering)
  • Min. 5 years of experience in the design of mechanical products (Valve and Switches design will be an advantage)
  • Experience with design of mechatronics products
  • Very good understanding of GD&T for serial production  
  • Experience with 3D CAD (knowledge of Autodesk Inventor will be an advantage)
  • Solid knowledge on FEA Simulation (knowledge of Ansys Aim/Workbench is an advantage)
  • Practical experience with Additive Manufacturing (3d Printing)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Team player with good networking skillsStrong drive and are persistent when solving your tasks.
