Job Description
To improve our organization and support the future growth and success of Danfoss, we are looking for a Supplier Development Manager who has a strong electronic knowledge and will monitor supplier performance and initiate actions to support them also in technical aspects. Reporting to the Head of Quality.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Coordinate and conduct Ready for Business qualification audits at new suppliers proving their capabilities to live up to the Danfoss requirements including the Supplier Quality Manual and technical aspects
- Coordinate and conduct Business Awards audits where needed
- Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective/development actions if supplier performance is not according to goals
- Plan supplier activities with Category Managers and segments stakeholders
- Support global calibration of supplier mindset, methods, and processes
- Set directions, advice, and support supplier development within the area of supplier quality and performance
- Support that processes and toolbox are updated according to customer requirements and global supplier performance strategy

Therefore, a good communication skill; a cross culture and functional awareness; good business understanding; the ability to facilitate teamwork and train internal colleagues and external suppliers are the foundations to achieve a successful job. Moreover, we imagine that you possess the following qualifications:
- MSc (candidate or master) of Electrical or Mechanical (yet with electronic bases)
- Min. 8-10 years within quality and or supplier relations
- Automotive background - IATF 16949 experiences, deep knowledge of the IATF tools
- Experienced in working with EMS
- Strong knowledge on ISO9001
- Excellent English skills
