Job Description

Danfoss heat exchangers is looking for a material engineer to join its R&D team, your role is to promote reliability of aluminum heat exchanger in accordance with market requirement. Major tasks would include aluminum alloy selection,  evaluation, optimization of  brazing process and other related activities.

 

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for raw materials selection, cold/hot processing optimization aiming at promot anti-corrosion performance. 
2. In charge of laboratorial deliverables in experimental design, execution, and reporting for brazing quality related work.
3. Engage technically in specific tasks and strategic projects in cooperation with external independent institutes, joint ventures, and internal engineering resources.
4. Take the initiative to facilitate technical interaction with vendors, customers and third parties as a subject matter specialist.
5. Active for relevant knowledge sharing in any manner contributed to team professional competence enhancement.
6. Co-operate with team member on relevant anti-corrosion projects (Include customer development project).
7. Co-opeate with Quality dept. for the failure analysis. 
8. Take responsbility of surface treatment relevant activities. 

Background & Skills

1. Solid metallurgy and solidification background, master the materials characterization. Al alloy and brazing technology is plus. 
2. Have basic knowledge of surface treatment of aluminum and experience of failure analysis.
3. You demonstrate learning agility, and are positive, open-minded and a good team player who can interact with others, across borders and culture.
4. Education background with material science technology and engineering, or metal material related direction; 
5. 3-5 years material science related working experience;
6. English is working language;
7. Innovative, fact-based, quality and result-oriented.
