Job Description

The main responsibility  is to be the representiative of proucrement in NPD or cost down projects to achieve projects' goal.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for driving the procurement related tasks in NPD/Cost down projects
  • Deep understanding the demand from projects to procurment 
  • Well coorndinate with category team (buyers) and logistics to collectively support projects team from supply chain side
  • Evaludate the readiness of suppliers for the new parts in terms of process and production capablity during project concept phase, and closely work with category team (buyers) for suppliers selection
  • Leading RFQ for new parts in projects to ensure the right cost of new parts
  • Follow up on prototypes and SPPAP orders on time delivery with right quality
  • Early engage suppliers for NPD projects to bring more innovative ideas to create more value for customers 
  • Responsible to secure all procurement related documentation is in place
  • Support regional category managers and inbound logistic on logistic set-up, ramp-up/down incl. SLA and capacity evaluation on code no
  • Secure and strengthen compliance with Danfoss procurement tools, process and procedures and standards in accordance with the projects milestone plan
     
Background & Skills

• Mechanical engineering education background, more than 5 yeras related working experience in purchasing.

• Well understand the common industrial process, like pressed parts, turning process, casting, plastics, package, fasten parts, etc.

• Hands on experiences on procurement projects, and commerical negotiation

• Well udnerstand the cost structure and able to do should-cost analysis

• High level communication skills in both English and mandarin

• Strong leadership to lead cross function team

• Project management skill will be plus
