Job Description

Within Danfoss we are looking for a Transformation Expert – Indirect Cost (m/f/d) located close to our offices in Hamburg, Neumunster or Offenbach am Main, Germany.

 

We are also open for candidates from other countries within the Central European region (CER), Austria, Switserland, the Netherlands and Belgium but Germany is preferred.  

 

You will be leading regional and global projects, drive change management initiatives related to Indirect Costs across our various global Danfoss factory locations. These projects will be managed on site. Therefor it is important that you are flexible, willing and able to travel for 50 to 70% of the time to be present at our factory locations.  

Job Responsibilities

As Transformation Expert, you will be assigned to specific projects in our factories for up to 6 months. Sometimes leading multiple projects at the same time. You will be leading projects to achieve solid contribution margin improvements by optimizing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Indirect Cost impacting the Factory Performance. You will provide support and coaching for leaders and systematically share best practices using various improvement tools. You will be working in a multicultural environment with highly qualified colleagues from all over the globe.

 

You will lead and manage cross-functional projects and identify Indirect Cost optimization opportunities and secure the buy-in from relevant stakeholders. Analyse data, define the scope and define and agree on targets. Be the Project Leader and deliver your support as a Project Leader to ensure timely execution and achieve the agreed targets. Ensure performance at our factories in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Behave as an inspirational leader, demonstrate vision and performance coaching towards the operation teams on site. Support and challenge the factory and divisional management to drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Drive Performance Management (PMS) to follow up on operating activities, provide corrective actions if needed and coach and challenge to obtain stretched targets. Background & Skills

In order to be successful, we expect you to have +7 years of operating experience in procurement and/or supply chain management within global organization. You have a background in manufacturing and possess a relevant master’s degree. Additionally, we would like to see:

  • Hands-on experience with change management projects;
  • Be a reliable team player and able to change role to become the inspirational leader;
  • Use your commercial and technical expertise to gain confidence and trust of the project team, peers and the management;
  • Process excellent interpersonal skills, stable and reliable personality with a can-do attitude that will solve complex problems, create credibility, trust and therefor have a sustainable impact;
  • Demonstrates commitment to diversity and inclusion and brings a global mindset;
  • Exhibits a refined blend of strategic vision, functional excellence and execution successes;
  • Operate in a complex global matrix organization while maintaining an entrepreneurial mind set;  
  • Is an efficient communicator and a consensus builder, result driven, fact based and a well-structured working style;
  • Preferably have experience in optimizing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Production Tools (e.g. cutting tools) from a commercial and technical perspective;
  • Is fluent in writing and speech of the English language. This is non-negotiable!
