Job Responsibilities

Leanheat is now looking for a Front-End Software Developer to join our Development team in the Leanheat Building solution (www.leanheat.fi). The position is located in our brand-new office in Helsinki, Finland, but we are open to remote work arrangements as well. We offer you a chance to apply your programming skills to directly reduce the environmental load caused by building heating. We are looking for a Front-End Software Developer to help us mainly with the user interface design and development of the Leanheat system there is developed in React. As for backend we use variety of technologies such as Clojure, PostgreSQL, AWS cloud infrastructure and IoT sensors.

Background & Skills

 

We hope for

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in software development
  • Strong development experience with modern (ES6+) JavaScript, React and its ecosystem
  • Knowledge about modern web technologies
  • Experience in unit testing with Jest
  • Love to practice functional programming with JavaScript
  • Experience using, designing, and building REST APIs
  • Capability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team
  • Strong communication skills

 

We also value

  • Experience with some of the following: DevOps in general, AWS, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, monitoring solutions
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL, especially PostgreSQL
  • Experience in Clojure
