Job Description

Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Contract Excellence Manager to join our Contract Excellence team. Together with the team, you will be responsible for improving the contracting process across the mainly commercial elements of the contracts and for the development of supporting tools.  

 

You can look forward to working with a mix of exciting tasks at a strategic, tactical and operational level. You will be navigating in a global matrix organization and report to the Head of Sales Excellence.  

Job Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to strengthen the transparency, governance, and risk management across the organization. You will also analyze global and local contracts, supervise the performance of new guidelines, and direct change management initiatives, as well as monitoring and adapting the implementation of governance initiatives. 

 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Support Contract Managers and business stakeholders with various contract support, tools and analysis 
  • Translate business needs and data into digestible information that improves the sales processes (e.g., business activities, reporting, tools, and templates)
  • Manage projects which deliver results that will make the organization more efficient/profitable. 
  • Alongside other team members, implement the contract management process, tools and systems, ensuring that Danfoss can honor our contracts with a low-risk exposure 
  • Support the Sales organization to register contracts in our CRM system
  • Build databases, dashboards and similar tools for analysis

Background & Skills

We are looking for an experienced contract manager with an understanding of sales processes, and who possess the ability to build solid stakeholder relations and work in a global matrix organization. You have at least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in contract management e.g. 

 

It is essential that you are a collaborator with good communication skills, who has a clear preference for listening to- and understanding stakeholders while identifying their needs and translating those into meaningful processes and tools. You build trust-based relationships and thrive in a role where you are acting as interface towards internal business stakeholders.

  • Experienced and capable in change management
  • Qualified project management skills
  • Experienced trainer and skilled in building/managing training plans
  • Ability to build structure in a complex environment
  • Hands-on approach to documentation and analytics
  • Analytical mindset, structuring and understanding data, create and implement analytics to enable monitoring and steering
  • Knowledge about Power Bi / Business Warehouse 
  • Power point and Excel expert
  • Fully proficient in English - verbal and written
