Danfoss Editron is in the search of a Program Manager to be responsible for organizing and in charge of different product development programs and other related activities. Position is located in Lappeenranta, Finland.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Program Manager, you will oversee developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals. Also follow up business case for the related programs are part of this position. Furthermore, you will be responsible of:


•    Coordinating activities between multiple projects in a program to ensure they align with the overall program goals
•    Developing a budget and operating plan for the program
•    Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services
•    Managing and motivating a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities (cross functional)
•    Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance
•    Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
•    Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions
•    Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
•    Analyzing program risks
•    Following the Danfoss Product Development Process (PDP)
•    Acting as PDP ambassador in the organization, supporting project managers in the project execution phase 

Background & Skills

As our ideal candidate, we expect you to have prior experience in program management, financials and team management. You are fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken. You are effective communicator, creative thinker and problem solving comes naturally for you. It is preferred if you have PMP Certificate desired with at least 5 years’ experience in the Automotive Field. Understanding of Electrical Vehicle Applications/Motors/ Power Electronics is an asset and helps you to get started. It is also beneficial if you have good documentation skills, knowledge about Safety Management and understanding of Financial Modeling Analysis.
