Job Description
Danfoss Editron Division is looking for a subject matter of expert Supply Chain Specialist that will be responsible for improving the Supply Chain & SAP IT processes, SCM teams’ user experience and knowledge, driving the change and leading the continuous improvement, enhancement of the supply chain setup, processes and systems and be a strong liaison to the operational BU Supply Chain teams. The position is located in Lappeenranta, Finland. Global relocation is possible based on candidate profile.

Job Responsibilities
• Subject matter expert and process development owner on SCM processes & concepts like Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Customer Managed Inventory (CMI), Consignment stocks etc.
• Subject matter expert of SAP & IT processes and tools to identify gaps and process improvements in line with business expectations and compliance.
• Enable the development of IT tools and processes / SAP. Facilitate projects and cascade projects related change to the Supply Chain
• Deploy, standardize, and facilitate S&OP Process across the Business Unit Plants, translation of sales plan into procurement and operations capacity, communication of plan to suppliers. SCM Director must understand the S&OP process and be effective at managing a team to execute S&OP effectively at a site, region, and global level. This includes forecasting, inventory management, inter-company trade, etc.
• Actively involved in deployment, improvement, and adherence to all SCM Processes with high level of SAP knowledge. Develop and deploy a detailed assessment program that will help individual sites to drive materials process continuous improvement, establish goals, prioritize central support resources, pareto common gaps, etc. The assessment tool will also measure materials metrics and SAP System Health scores to ensure the strategy deployment is aligned with leading and lagging indicators.
• Work closely with Global SCM Manager, BU Procurement Leader, and Plant Operations teams to define & deploy the process improvements.
• Focus on the End-to-End fulfilment and supply chain value streams, evaluate and assess risks, develop long-term Supply Chain strategies, and continuously improve processes. Proactive risk classification will be required in collaboration with the procurement team to understand how to improve the upstream flow of material and secure capacities in the entire Supply Chain (End to End mapping);
• Proactively map the current process and identify opportunities for improvement across the supply chain from supplier (tier 1, 2) all the way to key customers. This will be done in close cooperation with the operational BU Supply Chain team and local Supply Chain organizations at plant levels.
• Collaborate with other functional areas such as Procurement, Sales, Operations to drive and improve E2E activities/ processes Lead or participate in local and global projects.
• Define the improvement opportunities & train relevant supply chain teams regarding the tools, processes and developed supply chain concepts to increase the efficiency and performance of the SCM functions in line with business expectations.
• Plan and/or organize workshops, establish a high process knowledge, develop competencies, develop lean culture, changes culture, etc.
• Lead & coordinate the Export Control Process & actions at BU level. Ensure compliance with legal requirements in markets served. Ensure conformance to all domestic & international laws & regulations within the supply chain scope and develop appropriate relationships with key government interfaces such as Customs. Ensure that all import and export transactions are in compliance with GTM rules and laws.
• Other tasks as required on the job agreed with a direct Manager.

Educational background and experience
• Bachelor or higher degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Engineering.
• Supply Chain Management certification is a plus.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in supply chain management
• Strong and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills in English
• SAP / BW knowledge, SAP processes & handling, Facilitation of SAP development
• High knowledge of SCM & logistic processes, VSM, KanBan, VMI, Consignment stock, Export Control
• A well organized and analytical mind set and a hands-on personality.
• Able to communicate, convince, educate, and train your team/project group members.
• Demonstrate accountability and project management skills.
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
• SAP, Microsoft office, Excel, Power BI
• Lean/Six sigma is a plus.
