Job Description

Do you want to help us define our digital customer segments and develop the customer experience of our digital tools and applications that impact the daily work of installers and design engineers across the world? Then you might be our new Digital Product Owner. 

Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a customer-oriented Digital Product Owner with a strong sense for impeccable UX, that is motivated by building best-in-class digital projects and maintaining industry leading digital solutions.

You will join a highly skilled and diverse team of Product Owners that play a central role in the Danfoss Digital Transformation journey and is currently developing and maintaining digital apps that are used by more than 250.000 users worldwide every month.

Digital Transformation is our key focus in the coming years where we will invest in designing the best-in-class customer experience. You will be the Product Owner of some areas of the most successful and commonly used apps in the industry and the key person to ensure that we provide the best mobile and web experience to our customers as well as help us figure what are the key next steps to take.
 

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work both with your individual tasks and responsibilities as well as with managing and owning several digital projects. The position requires a collaborative and flexible approach, as you will be working individually on projects, but at the same time collaborating a lot in cross-functional teams with software developers, external partners and other stakeholders.

You will apply your “customer first” mindset to all projects. Furthermore, you will:

• Be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and evaluating mobile and web applications.
• Utilize wireframes, mockups, and simple prototypes to pitch ideas, test and recommend improvements.
• Analyze insights from our digital platforms to understand customer behavior.
• Help to design and improve the entire digital customer experience.
• Stay updated on recent trends and opportunities in the digital landscape.

Background & Skills

Your educational background is not that important, but you need to have a customer-oriented and structured mindset, and a good understanding of how digital products are built. You possess an understanding of Agile/Scrum methods and can apply these to project management e.g.:

• Drive product development from early concept to final delivery.
• Embed continuous development and delivery processes (think MVP first) into the project(s).
• Maintain clear communication across project stakeholders and developers.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs as well as project/stakeholder needs (think scope, budget and time).
• Ability to translate user/customer needs into clear and actionable acceptance criteria for new products and/or feature development.

It is a plus if you have any experience in these areas: 

• User Experience methods for design and development (e.g. user research, user journey mapping, wireframing and user testing).
• Conducting user interviews.
• Azure DevOps (or other project management SW e.g. JIRA).

On a personal level, you can focus on the important details while maintaining a holistic view. You like to learn and have the ability to understand very complex situations and digital ecosystems. Last but not least, you are a strong communicator and proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.
