Job Responsibilities

Direct responsibility for the Electronics & Software Teams

Work with Sales Team to develop specifications for existing and next generation automotive electrification products

Work with Customer Engineering Teams to define specifications for customer specific products

Work with Project Management Office to lay out confident project schedules to which the Development Team will commit

Drive continuous improvement of Engineering methods to constantly raise the bar on our capabilities

Provide high-value critical feedback to team's concepts and ideas

Drive to meet schedules with confident solutions

Accurately assess skills of the team members against needs and address gaps

Control expenses within project and department budgets

Background & Skills

Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, focused on results

8+ years of experience in related field; minimum of 5 years in a leadership role

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or related field)

Development experience in electronics or Embedded software development

Experience with Automotive APQP practices, A-spice, CMMI, ISO26262 functional safety preferred

Experience with Engineering tools and languages: C-Code, CCS visual studio, Matlab, git-hub, Agile PDP, Polarian, Teamcenter, Altium, mentor graphics, Plexim, simplorer, Azure Dev ops, SAP, are preferred but not required.
