Danfoss Editron has an exciting opportunity for a Project Performance Controller where you will develop, implement, and sustain the R&D Controlling framework for creating transparency and follow-up for our project portfolio. You will be a Business Partner for our Programs & Portfolio team, secure Government Funding reporting and support new opportunities. The Project Performance Controller will own the Business case methodology and training across Editron.
Furthermore, you will be a business partner to our Marine Business Unit, ensuring financial support for our Marine project sales.

Job Responsibilities

 

As our new Project Performance Controller your main responsibilities are to: 

 

  • Create business cases with project leaders and evaluate new projects
  • Perform analysis and follow-up on project performance. Keep Program and Portfolio leader, Marine Business Unit leader and divisional controller updated in case of big deviations to budget/forecast
  • Ensure that deviations to budget/forecast are analyzed and corrective action is put in place       
  • Challenge Business Partners to ensure profitable growth. Participate in due diligence / portfolio management meetings on PDP business cases        
  • Participate in Group projects related to the financial area, such as reporting, system implementations, new ERP projects etc.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecast for the Projects including reviewing, assessing and modelling future business initiatives

 

Background & Skills

 

To be successful in this position you have a Master´s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar also other certification in finance and accounting will be highly valued. 


You have working experience 5-7 years in project controlling in industrial, automotive or aerospace industries. 


You also have deep understanding of product life cycles and business case creation.


Furthermore, you should have: 


•    SAP & Hyperion (or other large ERP system) experience
•    Proficiency with Excel and Business Objects
•    High level of ambition and a track record of driving continuous improvement in a global industrial setting
•    Able to be effective in a matrix organization, including influencing stakeholders
