Job Description

 

The Quality Technician - Dock Audit position will be responsible for making sure all final assemblies and sub-assemblies meet all required specifications. The auditor will need to communication all quality issues found to operators. They will also be responsible for logging all failures found.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Join daily walk to review what will coming to QA and when it needs to ship
  • Posting (and removal) of Deviations and Quality Alerts for appropriate floor personnel affected by them
  • Work with Production to get units fixed that have failed Dock Audit
  • Recognize and drive continual improvement within their scope of work.
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Organize and file dock audits
  • Maintain Dock audit failure worksheet
  • Participation in customer 8D’s affiliated with plant line rejects at customer locations
  • Assist in incoming inspection activities as time permit
