Job Description

The Sales Development Manager is responsible for the development of the Off-highway Electrification sales as well as managing some direct accounts. The primary focus in this position is Distribution, but the scope may be later extended to other channels (OEM). 
The position gives an excellent view on Electrification and an opportunity to join one of the biggest revolutions in the Off-highway industry in a great team.  
 

Job Responsibilities

•    Develop the Off-highway Electrification sales in your region with 
o    the customers where DPS is present (in co-operation with the Account Team)
o    new customers.
•    Actively develop the Distribution sales and propose new Partners
•    Prepare trainings and necessary technical support for the qualified Partners
•    Manage the direct accounts owned by Business Unit 
•    Be the expert and primary contact person for the off-highway electrification for the DPS Sales & Marketing team in your region/channel. 
•    Actively join customer visits to promote the Editron technology.
•    Deal with customer issues head-on and in a timely manner.
•    Collect the product requirements to the BU product management and R&D teams (PDP front-end/VoC). 

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you will need the following:
•    Proven experience and track record in B2B sales, and a customer-oriented mindset
•    Experience in off-highway mobile equipment (e.g. construction machines), commercial vehicles or other relevant business  
•    A degree in engineering (electrical engineering preferred). A degree in other field with a combination of extensive work experience on a relevant field can be considered 
•    Experience in electric drive systems and/or electromobility will be an asset 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent English skills, both in writing and in speech 
•    Language skills supporting the sales in South America will be an asset
•    Willingness to travel 
•    Passion for Electrification

Travel Requirements
•    Domestic travel as needed to meet customers and to support sales development activities
•    Travel to Europe or other location for global team meetings and trade shows (once a year)
