Danfoss in Longmont, CO is searching for a Sr. Electronics Engineer to join their growing team.

Job Responsibilities
Design of power electronics and control circuits for Electric and Hybrid electric vehicles including: DC-DC converters, 3 phase motor drives, and AC inverters.
Take designs from concept into production, including design, documentation, design validation testing, debug, field return root cause failure analysis, corrective actions, and ECN preparation.
Experience in the release of automotive electronics is a plus
DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA knowledge required
Background & Skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BS in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Power Electronics.
• Analog and digital schematic design, PCB layout, testing and debugging experience
• High volume manufacturing experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A minimum of 7 years related experience is needed for this position
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
• MS in electronics or related field
• Knowledge of motor control theory
• Controls systems experience
• Embedded Firmware experience
• Design for ISO26262 Functional Safety Experience
• Automotive Industry Experience with familiarity of the APQP process is a plus
• 10 years experience in related field
