Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Die Maintenance Helper to join us at our diverse team in Louisville. The Die Maintenance Helper will be responsible for the cleaning and maintaining of the dies before and after they go into press.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

Help with cleaning and maintaining the Dies before and after they go to press
Learn Die Setup, punch button change out
Trained in general machine work
Provide line support for the assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality
Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem solving on the shop floor

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

Minimum of an High School diploma or equivalent from Technical School, and 6 months related experience on Danfoss products would be preferred
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes
Computer skills, (Microsoft Office, PLC, test stand)
Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
Customer Service mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure are necessary traits
Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral based safety using proper PPE are requirements
