Danfoss in Louisville are a site of 50 people with a monthly revenue of $2,000,000. We are building heat exchangers for cooling and/or heating. Our products are used in industries worldwide such as ships, schools, and supermarkets.
We are a company with increasing market share and a strategy of being twice as big in two to three years. This means that we need to strengthen our Supply Chain and our processes to accommodate the upcoming potential.
Position can be full or part time, based on class schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of ISO 9001 certification you will work closely together with the Quality Manager and the ISO lead auditor. The primarily tasks would be:
- Work with the team to develop Standard Operating procedures
- Update & Maintain document control of all standard operating procedures
- Create and update ISO communication
- Maintain environmental compliance tracking sheet with Danfoss negative list
- Support with investigations of non-conformances using the required corrective action form and root cause analysis with documentation
- Work closely with Quality Manager & EHS Manager in conducting Internal Audits, EHS documentation and support as needed
- Work with Quality manager to develop preventative actions and maintain continuous improvement log
- Work with Quality manager to develop preventative actions and maintain continuous improvement log
- In conjunction with the EHS Manager, lead the cultural change of safety first
- Make process overview and implement process governance
- Develop process turtles for the different processes
Background & Skills
- Pursing a Bachelors or higher in Business, Operations or Engineering
- Demonstrate good cooperation and good communication skills, both verbal and written
- An analytic mindset who can make suggestions for improvements based on data
- Works systematically and persistently with problem solving and has a fact based problem solving approach
- Technical aptitude
- Ability to write reports, SOP’s and make presentations
- Effectively present information
- Computer skills such as Excel and Microsoft outlook
- ERP knowledge such as Axapta or SAP
- Goal oriented with high degree of activeness and enthusiasm
- Able to motivate teams during continuous improvement processes
