We are seeking a self-driven Product Specialist for our Loves Park, IL site. The Product Specialist position is responsible for development and maintenance of product tools, process, and data for the full product lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, and supply chain
• Administration of department websites and SharePoint areas
• Creation of part numbers and bill of materials for products
• Administration of purchase orders
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analysis from product and engineering data sets.
• Identification of third-party data sources for product and engineering requirements
• Provide quality assurance of imported data.
• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
• Processing confidential data and information.
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
• Training end-users on new reports, dashboards, and analysis.
• Develop and improve data science / advanced analytics capability, talent, and understanding throughout the company
Background & Skills
The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- • AS/AA degree or 1 year relevant experience
• Experienced at analyzing customer needs and defining solutions
• Must have outstanding customer communication skills.
• Strong team player – enjoys working with others.
• Innovative style and approach to problem solving.
• Highly motivated with strong sense of urgency.
• Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets.
