Job Description
Danfoss is seeking a hands-on, flexible Quality Engineer to join our team. You will work in a team-oriented environment and will have exposure to many different processes and tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for process related concerns
- Continuous improvement activities to enhance quality systems such as Kaizens, 5S, etc.
- Develop training to build quality awareness
- Analyze failures, and implement corrective and preventative action to respond to customer complaints
- Recommend product design and process changes to improve product quality
- Conduct audits, create audit finding reports and determine the proper corrective and preventative actions for those findings
- Utilize Statistical and lean based tools to complete a variety of projects to meet business objectives
- Lead small teams or groups to meet quality objectives

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years experience implementing quality and lean principles in a manufacturing or service environment
