The Sales Operations Business Analyst in Loves Park, IL will be a part of the Commercial & Operational Excellence team responsible for business activities supporting our Sales, Marketing and Service organization. For the right person, this position offers excellent opportunity to support an aggressive growth strategy in the Americas region.  Danfoss sees the North American market as critical to long term success and this role will help support the realization of attaining our goals.

Job Responsibilities

The Sales Operations Business Analyst will support the development and implementation of administrative practices supporting key customer facing processes.  In the future, as processes are implemented and tasks become automated, this position will become more involved in process improvement activities, driving a culture of continuous improvement to further improve our support of the region’s customer base.  Key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the administration of our Partner Programs in cooperation with our Channel Management Team
  • Define, develop and manage the administrative processes for supporting Rebates and Commissions, to support our contractual obligations to our channel & OEM partners
  • Define, develop and manage the administrative process for facilitating and monitoring sales Leads from inception through ultimate closure
  • Develop automated KPI reporting to support local workstreams in execution of process improvement efforts
  • Support the local organization in defining Reporting/Data needs for the responsibilities above and work with relevant stakeholders (eg. Finance or IT) to ensure our local data/reporting needs are met
  • Recommend improvements in processes or in data to better support our region
  • Other duties as defined

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (MBA Preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Business, process improvement, or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports/KPI reports
  • Competency in Microsoft applications
  • Competency with Data management and databases (SQL and Visual basic skills a plus)
  • SAP and SalesForce Experience desired
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Independent worker with follow through on commitments
