Job Description

The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining a profitable relationship with customers on behalf of the company by taking personal and complete responsibility for each customer account as assigned. Along with ensuring that all customers’ requirements and needs are completely met.

You and the team are responsible for supporting the company vision and mission! Therefore, extreme tact, sensitivity, and professionalism the fullest are necessary as you will have daily contact with customers and will be a direct influence on their satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Customer Order Management (Process and track customer orders through shipping and transportation, including follow up with customers as required.  In addition to this order must be processed in accordance with established procedures)
  • Provide support for Sales, Tech Support or Fulfillment to the customer as required.
  • Support sales and customers to identify customer needs and deliver the right technical solutions for maximizing the outcome of each opportunity.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, pricing, transportation, outstanding invoices, etc.
  • Answer calls and all customer communication in a timely, friendly, and thorough manner.
  • Support Customer Service Colleagues / Team as needed to ensure team can meet yearly KPI’s and overall Customer Satisfaction.
  • Provide various other customer service duties as requested by members of the Customer Service Department, Management, and the Company Executive Group

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a customer service environment, with good exposure to matrix management, cross-functional collaboration, and people management skills
  • Strong experienced SAP ERP user in a sales and distribution context
  • Structured and process oriented
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Strong understanding of supply chain
  • High level of energy and ability to build relationships and trust across countries/cultures
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills
