Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will take on a functional leadership role for cross-functional project teams of 3-5 people. It will be your responsibility to drive optimization projects in the factory, assembly and clean room together with your project team. As we are heavily ramping up towards mass production, you will ensure our production output is meeting customer demands. In your first project, it will be your goal to develop the clean room into a mass production unit with high quality, higher yield, and optimized manufacturing execution. You will also be involved in the implementation of new production equipment.
As part of managing the project teams, you will structure and drive change implementations. Project milestones and recommendations are presented to the change control board (cross functional board of leaders). You will ensure structured task execution and secure projects are implemented according to Danfoss procedures and requirements (IATF 16949). Furthermore, you will communicate on the project status to relevant stakeholders and ensure you get support if needed. Overall, you will be the driver of many changes and therefore, a focus on change management, mindset changes and efficiency improvements in daily work will be necessary.
Background & Skills
To be successful in this position, you need an academic background in Engineering as well as several years of experience from the mass production industry with advanced production processes (e.g. semiconductor or automotive). Furthermore, we are looking for:
- Experience with project management and agile project execution to meet agreed deadlines
- Solid experience with change management and LEAN tools
- Ability to challenge status quo and existing work routines based on facts and data
- Experience with Six Sigma tools is a plus
- Ability to motivate and take functional leadership role in a project team
- High level of personal drive, holistic thinking, and lead by example mindset
- Solid communication skills paired with a cooperative workstyle and focus on knowledge sharing in the project team
- Very good English and German language skills
