Job Description
Danfoss continues investing in future growth and development of our people. We are seeking an engaging Commercial Sales Trainer to lead sales training programs for internal sales employees and channel partners.
This position will leverage strong facilitation and instructional design skills to manage, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate learning experiences and materials. This position is responsible for facilitating and delivering training to internal sales employees and sales leaders. This position will also have global responsibility to evaluate and continuously improve sales training offerings and support development of selling skills while expanding training offerings to channel partners.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate Global Value Selling virtual classroom and in-person training and coaching workshops for employees and leaders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess sales training needs for salespeople and sales leaders; work with stakeholders to update and improve the sales training program
- Conduct training program evaluations; communicate key performance indicators and results to stakeholders; identify opportunities to continuously improve and execute updates
- Manage sales training program budget, expenses, and work with vendors, as needed
- Manage curriculum, courses, and class schedules
- Further develop the sales training program over time to include sales competencies to support growth
- Design, develop and curate training and learning experiences for salespeople and sales leaders
- Support implementation and maintenance of internal sales onboarding program and training plans
- Other duties as assigned

Required (basic) qualifications:
- 3-5 years of technical selling experience
- 2+ years of training and facilitation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, economic or education field from an accredited college or university
- Adept with virtual classroom technologies, equipment, training platforms and delivery methods.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle competing and shifting priorities, and rally partnership and support
- Ability to lead and drive organizational change and operationalize programs and processes
- Proven facilitation, communication, and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and project presentations to senior management and global stakeholders
- Superior business acumen and strategy deployment
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills

- Master’s degree in technical, economic or education field
