Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Defines the strategic direction for products and applications for the electronic controller and autonomy product lines for Connect & Control Solutions (CCS) business unit. 
  • Manage pricing, promotion, and placement of the products throughout their life cycle 
  • Identify internal and external customer needs in relation to electronic controller applications using Voice of the Customer (VoC) methods
  • Identify the best technical characteristics, features, and functions of controllers to replace the current product line, identifying the overall roadmap
  • Analyze new technologies to be adapted to autonomous vehicles in cooperation with the Head of Autonomy, including insourcing vs outsourcing decisions and supporting potential partnerships/mergers to support growth
  • Work with Sales and Marketing and Business Unit Sales to initiate and coordinate actions to maintain controller and autonomy business

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), Marketing, Business Administration, or foreign studies (European or Asian)
  • 18 months experience working in a global matrix organization involving electric, electronic, and hydraulic component systems and applications
  • 18 months experience with IT tools (MS Office, SAP - Business Intelligence Warehouse, Salesforce), QFDs, panel of experts, and other voice of the customer methods
  • Experience may be gained concurrently
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization
