Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a 1st Shift Team Coordinator ​Process Technician to join our diverse team in Minneapolis, MN. The role of the Team Coordinator is to proactively maintain and support a safe, clean and orderly work environment by facilitating communication, encouraging a team atmosphere and acting as a role model.  The Team Coordinator will maintain and support a customer-focused culture, aid in identifying Operator training needs, monitor progress of individuals and teams and promote a climate of continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 

  • Records hourly registration, reviews hourly performance and reacts to deviations.
  • Ensures prioritization of tasks in cooperation with the team.
  • Manages daily planned production, keeps visual management boards updated
  • Monitor’s KPI’s and takes appropriate action. Participates in daily/weekly review of KPI’s
  • Works with material handlers and/or support teams to ensure material availability
  • Receives and implements production schedule.  Initiates actions to ensure that daily production targets are met
  • Coordinates and is responsible for all manufacturing processes, including sub-assembly prep work, product assembly, staging and shipping prep work where applicable
  • Communicates inventory errors and/or shortage information.  Communicates any other production issues, as necessary
  • Ensures finished product is complete and paper work is submitted in a timely manner
  • Participates in the hiring and development of new and existing team members

  • High School Diploma
  • 12+ months assembly experience
  • Safety training/accident investigation
  • Timely Preventative Maintenance (TMP) training
  • 5S Training, LEAP Training, SAP Training
