Job Description

 

As part of the process of setting up a new Tax Team in México due to a recent large business acquisition within the Power Solutions segment, Danfoss is looking for a Tax Analyst.

 

This position will be responsible to ensure the tax compliance of the new entities and will collaborate with internal and external resources.

Job Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Monthly and yearly tax calculations.
  • VAT Refund process.
  • Deferred tax determination
  • Consolidate transfer pricing transactions
  • Consolidate information in regards to APA / Safer Harbor determination.
  • Monthly VAT informative declaration (DIOT)
  • Annual informative declarations.
  • Tax assistance to other departments within the companies. 

 

Background & Skills

 

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • Degree in finance, business or equivalent.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in similar positions.
  • Conversational English.
  • Strong experienced in both Income Tax & VAT. Maquila expertise is desirable.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize is essential.
  • Accountable and adaptable in providing a result driven reporting structure.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience in ERPs such as SAP and/or Oracle. HFM reporting is a plus.
