Job Description

As Pricing Analyst (m/f/d) in the DPS EMEA Pricing Team, you will be part of the journey towards pricing excellence in Danfoss Power Solutions and will be responsible for supporting the DPS EMEA Sales organization in pricing and all price-related issues. You will be responsible for delivering on the Pricing goals and KPIs.

Please be aware: this is a temporary assignment that will end in June 2023.

Job Responsibilities

As our temporary Pricing Analyst (m/f/d) you will be the first contact for Account Managers regarding all pricing-relevant topics and work closely with the Sales organization and different Business Units to ensure that pricing materials, tools, guidelines, and authorization levels are understood and followed. Additional tasks and responsibilities you can expect:

  • Support the quotation process
  • Ensure smooth order processing by implementing approved quotes into the business system
  • Maintain price records in ERP system, ensure price master data healthiness
  • Prepare price and margin analysis to support pricing decisions, identify price errors and leakages
  • Support the implementation of the global pricing projects
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of pricing KPI’s, and highlight potentials for improvements to all aspects of pricing

Background & Skills

For this position you have a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in pricing or similar role preferably within an international company. Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven, attention to details
  • Good business and commercial understanding combined with customer-oriented thinking;
  • Professional usage of MS Excel (including functions, and pivot tables)
  • Experience with MS Access, Salesforce or other CRM systems, SAP system is an advantage
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well organized, able to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Process oriented, strives towards compliance and coaches others towards compliance
  • Self-driven, result and quality oriented, open minded
  • Have Fluent language skills (in word and writing) for the English language
