Job Description

As Finance Manager (m/f/d), you will lead the local Finance team in Neumünster, and be responsible for all Finance, Accounting and Tax related activities for the Danfoss Power Solutions entities.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the regional Danfoss service organization (GS) for the Central European Region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Netherlands) with cross country interaction.

 

It will be your responsibility to ensure secure compliance in all finance, accounting and tax matters in close cooperation with our external legal compliance partner and internal central functions. You will also secure high-quality deliverables respecting the given timelines. In your role as Finance Manager (m/f/d), you will provide input to continuous improvements, enabling innovative and efficient solutions. You will act as one point of contact for finance and tax matters towards internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will coordinate and handle internal and external audits.

Background & Skills

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting or auditing and hold a proven track record with a solid experience within financial management. Ideally, you have experience in dealing with external service partners for accounting and compliance and in managing complex processes within given requirements. Furthermore, we are looking for:

 

  • Capability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all organizational levels as well as external partners
  • Ability to see the big picture and proactively drive change (e.g. initiating knowledge sharing, improving current processes)
  • Motivational and encouraging leadership
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
  • Thorough experience with MS Office applications, SAP (preferably S/4 Hana), and ideally with reporting tools such as Hyperion
  • Flexibility with regards to travel (circa 10%)
  • Business fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing
