Job Description

Danfoss is establishing a Hybrid Cloud Business Office (HCBO) that develops our private and public cloud service capabilities that supports Danfoss and Danfoss customers. The HCBO will help to further enable our Digital Transformation and fulfil employees needs while progressing on our hybrid multi-cloud adoption journey.

 

For the HCBO Danfoss is looking for a DevOps Architect, who will be part of the IT Infrastructure Architecture team, responsible for the overall standards and framework of the cloud platform to support the organizations adoption of hybrid-cloud.

Job Responsibilities

  • Development of automation standards and building the automation framework.
  • Infrastructure as code templates and artifacts.
  • Build secure coding repositories and communities of practice for developers together with Danfoss’ Engineering SDLC.
  • Defining and setting development, test, production and support processes for DevOps operation.
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
  • Automated provisioning.
  • Cultural enablement and cooperate with stakeholders in the business and IT, providing them with professional advice on cloud solutions and translating business requirements into digital technology solutions.
  • Proactively spur new improvement initiatives and ways of working.

Background & Skills

You have 2+ years of experience as an Architect, preferably as a DevOps Architect. SW Developer or similar experience is a plus. Furthermore, you need: 

  • Preferably a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills, but value-driven and pragmatic at the same time. 
  • Experience with IT enterprise architecture, design and implementations
  • Experience with Azure (and other) cloud technologies in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
  • Expert Knowledge on CI/CD DevOps practices; and 
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling
  • Knowledge about infrastructure, i.e. cloud services, network, app/API monitoring, security and governance,.
  • Relevant certifications in MS Azure, TOGAF, etc.
  • To speak and write English effortlessly – Danish is an advantage
  • To navigate easily at many levels of the organization and can explain your vision to software developers, managers and fellow architects in a convincing way.
