Job Description

Does becoming a key member of an international team developing electronic control devices for embedded systems and ensure product lifetime by continuous design updates appeal to you? Then you might be the right candidate we are looking for in our R&D department.

 

Your overall mission will be to maintain and develop electronics for embedded systems and support the global hardware development teams in the exciting task to get the products EMC/EMI compliant. You will join our global qualified team and be working with a wide range of the technologies in a committed business unit.

Job Responsibilities

Focus on total cost and lifetime for a sustainable and flexible manufacturing


The primary responsibility will be to design both analog, digital circuits and support the global teams in keeping the design suitable in a volatile sourcing and manufacturing environment. You will cooperate closely with your colleagues in designated teams, ensuring that products meet applicable standards and customer requirements. The department is located at our Headquarters in Nordborg, where the majority of working hours will be.


 
More specifically, you will be:

  • Accountable for the high quality of the designs to meet the requirements
  • Ensure the detailed design documents with steps for EMI/EMC control
  • Ensure design is compatible to standards (UL, IPC, DFM. etc)
  • Work with Cross functional teams (product management, Supply chain, quality department) to define specifications for customer specific products
  • Providing technical expertise for microprocessor based electronic controller’s validation (product validation) for functional testing, EMI/EMC testing, environmental testing, vibration testing and other tests as per requirements and standards.

Background & Skills

The right candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Embedded Products Design (Hardware Electronics)
  • Good knowledge of power, analogue, mixed signal, and digital design
  • Good knowledge of the different certifications regarding EMC/EMI, LVD, RoHS, RED, FCC, UL etc.
  • Efficient debugging and testing skills (signal treatment, EMI/EMC)
  • Good knowledge of DFx, PCB layout and simulation tools
  • Proficient in English

 


At a personal level, you have solid analytical abilities, good communication skills and a positive and open mind. You have team spirit and are able to build relations and cooperate across borders and cultures.
