Job Description

Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls (RAC), R&D and Engineering is looking for a Hardware Engineer in Kolding or Nordborg.

Job Responsibilities

Your role as Hardware Engineer, will be to take responsibility for Hardware design and specification for primarily embedded systems. Furthermore, you will execute and coordinate R&D activities within a specific project, including all relevant activities and documentation. Additionally, you will also support our engineering team with Hardware related activities for our current products.

 

You will be interacting with other passionate engineers, across Borders and cultures.

 

You can expect approximately 10-20 days of travel per year, primarily to customers, partners, and suppliers.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position, you must have as minimum a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering or similar, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

 

As a person you are creative, fact based, quality and result oriented, positive, willing to learn and a good team player.

 

  • Preferable 2-5 years’ experience with design of electronic / mechatronic products
  • Design of analogue circuits (e.g., power management, SMPS, sensor measurement)
  • Design of digital circuits (e.g., MPU, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet)
  • Design for Manufacturing and PCB layout knowledge also with focus on EMC.
  • Experience with tools such as OrCAD and Altium.
  • Knowledge within Industrial application requirements, Integrated electronics and stepper motor drivers is preferred
  • Understand software for embedded systems
  • Basic project coordinator experience
  • Knowledge and experience within hardware specification
  • Fluent and comprehensive in English
