We are looking for a Head of Sales Development for Air-Conditioning and Commercial Refrigeration Controls that is one of the largest business units in Danfoss with a world leading portfolio.

Position summary

The Head of Sales Development will operate in a global environment and leads a team of 9 experienced, knowledgeable, and committed professionals. As a member of the Leadership Team, you are responsible for global sales development to ensure profitable YoY growth and meeting or exceeding the overall business perspective.

The Head of Sales Development sets the aligned strategic direction for the team across the regions, target segment /channels, supported by a strong opportunity pipeline. You enable the development of the team consisting of Sales drivers, launch manager and pricing manager, aligned with the growth aspirations for business unit.

You are known as an empowering leader, recognized for your excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, highly effective in large matrix organizations, capable of being both visionary and hands on when needed. 

Preferred location is Nordborg, Denmark, but other locations within (Europe) can be considered, hence frequent travel is required. 

Responsibilities

Setting up aligned strategic direction between regions, target segments/channels and the product line supported by an exceptional opportunity pipeline
 

  • Effective collaboration and strategic alignment with all Portfolio heads and functional stakeholders.
  • On-time market launch of new products that meet or exceed the business case.
  • Developing an end-to-end launch process with R&R for all stake holders to improve quality of launches.
  • Developing a high-performance team establishing effective collaboration with both functional and regional stakeholders.
  • Developing a foundation for strategic pricing and build a team to drive pricing.

 

Your Profile

You hold an Bachelor/Master degree in business administration or a related field. On top of this your have minimum 7 years of successful previous experience as a sales development manager, sales representative, sales manager, or sales driver.

Furthermore, minimum 5 years of experience leading geographically dispersed teams will be preferable, in which you have shown a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.

It is a key natural priority for you to be committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
