Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions would like to engage an intern for 4 to 6 months to be part of Work Function Project Team.  The major responsibility is to make optimization feasibility study on a running robot cell. This machine is not utilized fully, and we have an optimization potential by transforming manual processes into automated workflow. You will work in close coordination with Project Managers to investigate potential, design solution scenarios, request quotations to improve cell output.

Job Responsibilities

We expect the tasks to include

  • Time studies of current (manual) process and estimate of automated process

  • Parts overview and expected handling processes

  • Peripherals investigation / selection and / or tool design

  • Layout scenario(s)

  • Investment and implementation (in close coordination with Danfoss support teams)

  • Financial calculations (Investment, pay-back time, IRR)

  • Eventually robot programming and test runs

  • Project overview and weekly reporting.

Background & Skills

  • You are a student at Bachelor or Master’s level within Production, Robot or Mekatronic .
  • You are curious, self-propelled, focused and have an interest in high level automation. 
  • We expect you to be enterprising and interested in working with many different people.
  • You can handle Danish and English verbally and in writing.

 

Workplace
